Some shifts are more enjoyable for employees than others. This is taken into account via a rotating timetable. The goal is to create a timetable that allows everyone to work the shifts they enjoy and avoid as they rotate through the various shifts throughout time. This is especially critical if you enable shift swaps; they'll almost certainly switch shifts sooner or later. It's preferable if everyone has prior familiarity with all of them.   HO...

EMPLOYEE TERMINATION POLICY

Image
Figure 1 ( Nielsen L, 1999) The simplest definition of an employee termination policy is a written document that details how employee termination happens inside your organization. It outlines each step of the termination process and provides guidelines for management and human resources staff. It's awkward enough for both human resources and the departing employee when an employee leaves a firm. The termination policy adds structure to the situation, making it less stressful. It also addresses everyone's expectations.
