IMPACT OF STRESS AT WORK

Figure 1(Bashir and Ismail Ramay, 2010)

Stress is the body's physical, mental, and emotional response to positive and bad changes. People can be stressed by what happens in their environment, in their bodies, or even in their minds on a daily basis. The autonomic nerve system of the human body causes this reaction, which results in psychological changes that allow the person to be more alert, motivated, and avoid danger. This mechanism, often known as "fight-or-flight," is an emergency physiological response that prepares the body for physical action (fight) or flight (Bashir and Ismail Ramay, 2010)

However, if a person is constantly confronted with obstacles without the opportunity to rest or relax, this can become negative, resulting in excessive tension.
